Llama Forest Trekking

Company excursion with llamas

Llamas are funny, intelligent animals that prefer a straightforward and firm leadership. The interaction with these special animals outdoors makes this event a special experience.

Llamas are peaceful animals and are the ideal companions for a tour in the forest. Dealing with these special animals in the great outdoors makes this event a special experience.

Trekking with llamas

First, all participants will receive a detailed briefing from a qualified llama keeper.

Next the participants will need to work together to herd the llamas from a field into a pen.

Finally, participants will select their llama, practice putting the bridle on and build up rapport with the animal. Then the participants will lead the llamas on a route through a forest, overcoming several natural obstacles on the way.

Fun is the focus of this event. However, from how they handle and interact with the llamas, participants will be able to identify their leadership strengths and some areas to work on. When the llama keeper describes the character of the llamas, the character mirroring effect often occurs between the participant and the llama. This provides an unusual perspective from which participants can draw insights.

Please note that this event can be combined with a BBQ.
