The Sounds of the Mountains
Playing the Alphorn, the delicate arts of 'Talerschwingen' (in which a coin is slowly spun around a porcelain bowl to produce a sound) and 'Geisslechlöpfe' (cracking the whip), the authentic Swiss accordion and 'Löffele' (playing the spoons) and flag swinging. Go on, have a go at it yourself!
'Trycheln' – or the sound of the cow bells
The rhythmic pealing of enormous cow bells could be said to be the sound of Switzerland – you may find it's not as easy as it looks.
Timber...!
Chopping trees just like in the olden days: try your skills at the two-man saw. The nailing competition is also a great laugh!
Wine tasting competition
Who recognises the quality wines? The participants try to allocate the wines to their country of origin.
Swiss folks dancing in traditional dress

Yodelling
