We build the boats in teams with the guests. Fresh branches are cut by the work teams and moulded into the right shape. The wood is then tied together so that the basic structure resembles a basket frame. Finally, the construction is covered with a tarpaulin to make it waterproof.

To find out whether the self-built bull boats are seaworthy, the teams test the boats on a lake. 

The common goal forges a bond and working on the boats boosts team spirit. Each team member contributes their skills to the best of their ability. At the end of the day, ‘everyone is in the same boat’!
